14th Senior Two-Man Team

The tournament will be 18 holes Four-Ball Stroke Play for both gross and net divisions.  Net division handicap allowance will be 90% of each player’s handicap adjusted in accordance with  Handicap Manual Sect. 9.4b.ii.

This tournament is open to male members of MSGA member clubs but partners do not have to be from the same club.  Each player must have reached 55th birthday by midnight of day of May 12, 2009.

The field will be limited to 90 teams and shall be composed of the 30 teams having the lowest combined indexes with entries received on a timely basis.  The balance of the field will be entries received by the earliest date.

Food & beverage must be paid for or charged back to players home Club.

Motorized Golf Carts and range balls are included in the entry fee.

Winners receive silver prize. All other prizes are in the form of merchandise certificates which will be issued at the conclusion of play and must be exchanged for merchandise at the Pro Shop of Bethesda Country Club. For those who win merchandise certificates but are not present when presented at the conclusion of the tournament, their certificates will be left at the Pro shop for them to claim and exchange. All certificates must be redeemed prior to January 1, 2010.

The handicap maximum of 34.0 shown on the online registration form is the combined handicap index of both team members.  The handicap indexes must be at the member club shown on the entry form, must be current on the date of the event, and must be viewable on the verification site of www.msga.org.
