Course Description

18th Hole

The 18-hole championship golf course, designed by renowned golf course architect Joe Lee, opened in October of 1999. Lush, rolling fairways weave throughout undulated landscape, which is surrounded by serene lakes and native vegetation.

A design characteristic setting Abacoa Golf Club apart from so many other South Florida golf courses is its flowing elevation changes. Some elevation features may vary from 30 to 40 ft., which offer scenic views while creating exciting golf shots.

In typical Joe Lee style, the course's lakes and bunkers meet its sloping fairways with little obstruction, offering a course that is both challenging but fair to golfers of all playing abilities. Abacoa features Tif Eagle grass greens producing the highest quality putting surfaces in the south, year round.

View Larger Map	ABACOA GOLF CLUB is located approximately 200 yards to the west of Roger Dean Stadium, the baseball spring training home to the St. Louis Cardinals and the Montreal Expos. The Golf Clubhouse is located at the corner of Barbados and Parkside Drives near the heart of Abacoa, a traditional American hometown neighborhood. From I-95: Exit at Donald Ross Road (Exit #83) and go east to the second left, which is Parkside Drive. Go north on Parkside Drive (#18 finishing hole is on your left) approximately 1/4 mile, turn left on Barbados Drive and you?ll see the clubhouse. From Military Trail: From the North: Turn right (West) on Frederick Small. Go halfway around the circle and continue West on Frederick Small to Parkside Drive. Turn left (South) on Parkside Dr. approximately 3/4 mile to a right on Barbados Drive. From the South: Turn left (West) on Donald Ross Road and go approximately 1 1/2 miles to the second entrance to Abacoa on right. Turn right on Parkside Drive. Proceed to first left on Barbados Drive.

Policies
Tee Time Policy:	Tee times are available thirty days in advance. ABACOA GOLF CLUB has individual, family, and corporate memberships available.
Spikes:	Only soft spike golf shoes are allowed.
Dress Code:	Men: Collared Shirt with Sleeves. Shorts permissible. Women: Collar-less shirts must have sleeves. Sleeveless shirts must have collar. No T-shirts; tank tops; halter tops; cutoffs; jeans; running shorts & swimsuits (both men & women).
