This tournament is open to amateur fathers and sons or step sons, at least one of whom on each team must be a member of a MSGA member club. Each player must have an up-to-date USGA Index at a licensed club that is effective June 1, 2008. The handicap index must be at the member club shown on the entry form, must be current on the date of the event, and must be viewable on the verification site of www.msga.org. Entries are subject to rejection by the MSGA at any time, including during the competition. The reason for rejection may include unbecoming conduct or failure to comply with the requirements of the handicap system.
FIELD: The field will be limited to 90 teams and shall be composed of those teams having the lowest combined indexes of the entries received on a timely basis with the proviso that the field automatically will include the defending champions if their entry fee/application is received on a timely basis.
